Is Global Revolution Possible???

I think that as the gap between the poor or even the middle class and rich continues to grow wider; I am reminded of the situation just prior to the French Revolution. There you had an opulent king who felt secure in his power who gave no regard to his people. Similar monarchs were dethroned for the same negligence of the masses Halie Selassie in Ethiopia was overthrown when he decided he would rather feed his pet lions rather than his people and I could go on and on but you get the point.

Today with the riots in Greece, Italy, England we see people standing up to there governments who have for the past 30 or 30 years operated with little regard for there people. Tie a recession into that and you have conditions that could just lead to a global revolution. But what kind of system should replace the current system of capitalism.... That I do not know yet, I am somewhat of a hybrid socialist, communist and anarchist mixed in one. But one thing I would like to see is government officials who actually work in the interest of their people instead of filling their pockets with ill gotten goods.
