After A Revolution....

I was recently thinking about who should lead a nation after a revolution... I think the case would be different for each nation; but in the end the solution should be the same. For example in North Korea if Kim Jong Un continues the path of his father then I believe that it will be the peasants who should organize and lead a peasant revolution similar to the French Revolution so long ago. But the question is who should lead the newly freed nation...

I think it should consist of a council comprised of freely elected representatives from each class, Farmer, Business, Intellectual and Army. This council should be non-hierarchical and they should pass measures only on 2/3rds voting. They should each serve one two year term and that's it. That would keep corruption to a minimum. New elections would be held and new representatives from the people would be chosen.

The system should be one party based so the policies can truly benefit the people and however they decide on how to structure there economy should be left up to the people. I of course would love to see a socialist arrangement with the people being first.

But think for a second why couldn't a council work everywhere.... do we really need a singular leader???? Do we need a parliament or congress who have sold there souls to the business interests? Do we really need a two party divisive system that makes enemies of our neighbours? no we dont!!! We need new Ideas, new leaders, new ways of life, new new new enough of the old broken system.

But where can we find the unity to move forward and throw off the shackles that have weighed us down so long.... In North Korea that are pretty much smothered with political messages proclaiming the great/ dear leader, In the United States we too are smothered with our own propaganda, commercialism, and marketing mental slavery.

SO before we go pointing the finger we should look inward at our own corrupt system and rise up and follow the message of Thomas Jefferson who believed that all government should be constantly torn down and built up as time sees fit. I think its time for a council, I think the time when revolution is unavoidable will be upon us in this new decade...
